Step 2. Enter the following information: Name, Zip Code, City, Street Number, select the country, State/Province, Street Name, and Street Type from the drop down list, select the network connection type for television or internet, then click “Next” to continue.

Please note: The 911 emergency service will be available only in United States.
Step 3. Choose your phone number by selecting a state/Province, area code and prefix. The last four digits of your number will be assigned automatically, check “I elect to accept the free outgoing service”, then click “Next” to continue.

Step 4. Read the term of service, if agree, check “I have read and agree to the term of service”, then click “Next” to continue.

Step 5. Double check your information: name, address, email, network connection, if there is no error, click “Activate” to continue. Your phone number will be assigned after activation.
Figure 5Step 6. Congratulations! Your magicJack phone is activated and ready to use. Your magic phone number is displayed on the top line of the magicJack interface, as shown in figure 6.

Step 7. Plug any phone to magicJack or plug headphone into your computer, you can make free phone calls to anywhere in the United States and Canada. You may click the link here to log in to your magicJack account http://my.magicjack.com/ to edit Call forwarding and other account options.

ReplyDeleteNo. You should active the magicJack without using a credit card.
ReplyDeleteUnless you want a Canadian phone number or buy some pre-paid international minutes.
Renew magicjack is another story, it does need a credit card to pay for one year license.
i plug it in and the window of registration wont come up what do i do? is it defectueus?
ReplyDeleteTry it one more time on another computer, I would recommend recommend use a computer less than 2 years old and with XP or newer Windows OS:
Delete1. check if the USB or USB cable is in a good condition.
2. check if there is a windows USB event after the magicjack is plugged in the computer, a computer sound will notify when a new USB device is found.
After you tried on different computer, and the unit is still not working, you shall be able to return or exchange at the place you purchased the unit.
Do we have to activate it from the USA we can't activate it from my counrty
